In order to obtain a special rate for the MICCAI Conference registration, it is strongly advised to first register to the MICCAI Society.
Registrants can choose to become members of the MICCAI Society by selecting the option " MICCAI Membership" during Step ONE of the registration process for MICCAI 2012. Becoming a MICCAI Society member allows to register for the MICCAI 2012 conference at the member discounted rates. This is strongly advised as the cost of the MICCAI society membership is more than covered by the reduction of the MICCAI Conference registration fees. This means that the total expense of Membership plus Conference is lower than Conference alone.

Faculty level scientists, engineers, physicians, surgeons, allied health professionals, students, post-doctoral trainees, and industry scientists with an interest in medical/biomedical image computing and/or computer assisted interventions are invited to join the MICCAI Society. Student fees are reduced to encourage their participation in the Society, but must provide a verifiable certificate or letter from their Head of Department confirming they have formal student status at the time the subscription is paid.
Subscriptions are payable annually and run from September 1st to August 31st each year. Enroll online at the link below, or at the next annual MICCAI Conference. The standard MICCAI Society subscription rate is 80€ for full members (non-students) and 40€ for students, although this is offset by the generous discount of the annual conference fee. For each article accepted at MICCAI, it is required to have at least one of the authors registered at the main conference BEFORE 19 June 2012, with the commitment to present it at the conference.
Papers without registered author(s) will be withdrawn from the program and the proceedings.
All participants must be registered and are urged to register in advance.

Registration by phone will not be processed. Registrants will receive confirmation by way of an invoice and acknowledgement letter which will be mailed and which will recall all the information given on the registration form, including the amount of Value Added Tax (VAT) paid and all other requests. Important note: We wish to encourage participants to select the printed version of the proceedings of MICCAI 2012 which include an electronic version of all articles on a CD-Rom. These printed proceedings are of higher quality offset printing and fully in color; they are organized in three volumes of reasonable size (1 volume per conference day). It is therefore very convenient to bring along one printed volume each day at the conference to better interact with oral and poster presentations, and still enjoy the electronic version thanks to the included CD-Rom.
